| Jennifer Conquers Broadway, for a Night Thanks to Cat for the article. |
Two Thumbs Up on Broadway Jennifer had a one-night stand in Manhattan on Monday, impressing the crowd at the 6th Annual 24 Hour Plays on Broadway benefit, which featured six 10-minute plays conceived, written, rehearsed and performed all within one day. In her play, Three Girls and Bob her Broadway debut Jennifer played a single woman who attends an intimacy workshop with two friends (Rosie Perez and Lynn Whitfield) and then tries out its lessons on a hapless man (David Cross.) "It shouldn't be this hard," her character says of single life. Costar Perez who is on the board of the event's beneficiary, Working Playground, which brings arts education to New York City classrooms tells PEOPLE that Jennifer lent star wattage to the event. "We had a real boost from Jennifer" she said. "She was as sweet as pie. I really appreciated her coming because she raised the profile of tonight's event and that is going to help so much. She didn't have to do this. She didn't have to take time out of her schedule." How did Jennifer get involved? "The 24 Hour Plays people approached her and she said yes. But when she found out about Working Playground, she was over the moon. She said, 'I'll do all the press. I'll do whatever you want.' " Perez liked her acting, too: "She's got chops. She said she had performed Off-Broadway. She's really, really good." "She's a total pro," said Elizabeth Berkeley, who starred in another work performed Monday night. Other actors filling stages around Times Square included Anna Paquin, Gaby Hoffman, Kieran Culkin, Rachel Dratch, Julianna Margulies, Sam Rockwell, Liev Schreiber and Fisher Stevens. "She was great," Stevens said of Jennifer. "She came in and did her job. She was just one of the regular people." Actors were asked to bring props and costumes to the initial cast meeting on Sunday at 10 p.m. "Jennifer brought a chef's jacket," an insider tells PEOPLE. The next morning at 8 she showed up by herself and worked hard the entire day, never mentioning her personal life or boyfriend Vince Vaughn – who himself participated in a 24 Hour Plays benefit in London on Oct. 8. "Why would she?" said her costar David Cross. The 24 Hour Plays began at 10 p.m. the night before the show, when actors, writers and directors gathered at the theater to meet each other. The six writers worked through the night, crafting the 10-minute plays. The next morning, the directors chose and cast the plays before the actors returned to the theater and began rehearsing. At 8 p.m., after two hours of technical rehearsals, the performance began. Judging by the reaction of the audience inside the American Airlines Theatre and the New York Post which wrote in its Tuesday edition, "Jennifer made a hit debut on Broadway last night" Jennifer was a smash success! At the after party at The W Hotel, Jennifer sat at a banquette surrounded by friends, laughing and talking. "Call me," she said to one male pal before she left.

Settled over topless photos |
Deal reached with photographer who captured her nude at home
Jennifer and a photographer have settled a lawsuit
regarding topless photos shot of the actress late last year. The 37-year-old actress sued Peter Brandt in December 2005, claiming he invaded her privacy by using a telephoto lens to photograph her inside her home when she was topless or partly dressed. Jennifer alleged that Brandt used "invasive, intrusive and unlawful measures" to capture the images. Brandt said he took the photos while standing on a public street about 300 yards away from Jennifer's home.

'I'm Not Engaged!' Jennifer in an exclusive interview today with PEOPLE, denied published reports that she and Vince Vaughn are engaged, calling the stories "insane" and saying that "people are getting fed a lot of bull." "I'm not engaged and I don't have a ring and I haven't been proposed to," Aniston said in a telephone conversation she initiated to debunk the engagement rumors. "Normally we don't even acknowledge these things because they're endless, at this point, the thing that got me was that I was getting phone calls from Greece! My Aunt Mary in Greece is getting accused of lying! I mean, they're getting angry. "My dad calls and he says, 'Honey, it's on the CNN crawl,' and I'm going, 'Wait a second!' When it starts to travel over into the Today show and CNN and supposedly reliable and accurate news programs, then you just go, 'This is insane.' People are getting fed a lot of bull." As for the recent report detailing Vaughn's alleged proposal aboard a private jet following a Mexico vacation in late June, Jennifer says she had to laugh. "It's so funny, with Vince, it's like the joke we had. I said, 'Okay, so you're on a romantic location. You've got the beach, you've got the sunset, but no, no, you're going to wait for an airplane ride,' " she says. "'First of all, are you going to try and curb my fear of flying? Are you trying to trap me on a plane?'" As for her relationship with Vaughn, whom she met last year while filming The Break-Up, "We're just being," Jennifer says. "We're having a good time." So, as reported, no wedding on the beach? No white dress? "No," she says, with a laugh. "I mean, it couldn't be more of a 'No.' " Jennifer says she was moved to speak once the reports were picked up widely by mainstream media. "I don't feed into that," she says of the steady stream of rumors about her personal life. "We (her friends) don't talk about it. We don't hash it out because it's not true. The only reason I'm saying something is because if we're listening to the news, we're supposed to be believing in the news, she says. "Tabloids are going to lie all the time. You're prepared for that. But it's the news. And you think, 'Well, we need to trust what our newscasters are saying when we have this horrific situation that's actually taking place in the world, I mean, we are getting reported the truth, right?' "The American people need to believe (the news)," Jennifer says. "Please. Get it together. So that's all."

The Break-Up review
Coming in open-minded, with mixed reviews , Brangelina baby news withdrawal and all, that wasn't going to stop me from enjoying The Break-Up. Irony should be Jennifer Aniston's middle name because she was offered this movie right on the verge of her own break-up with ex-husband Brad Pitt. In countless interviews, she's repeatedly said that this movie was very therapeutic. Perhaps, the specific reason behind her therapy came from constantly laughing with reported on/off-screen beau Vince Vaughn in every scene and outtake. Throughout the movie, you can tell that even when Jen and Vince were bickering like cats and dogs, they had an undeniable chemistry that cannot go unnoticed. The Break-Up tells of Gary (Vaughn) and Brooke (Aniston) who were once a lovey-dovey couple, now turned heated foes in this anti-romantic comedy. With opening credits going to Queen's. You're My Best Friend, it introduces the audience to the characters and their dispositions. Gary is a bus tour-guide in in his native Chicago, as Brooke works as a saleswoman for an art gallery, respectively. Things turn sour between the lovebirds and go from bad to worse, when the couple won't back down on moving out of their nicely furnished Chicago condo. They each have their own confidants and family with whom they turn to for advice. The rest is up to Gary and Brooke to understand if breaking up was worth it in the first place. Although the movie stars Aniston and Vaughn, it would be incomplete without mentioning the funny all-star ensemble of supporting characters that include: Joey Lauren Adams, Peter Billingsley (yes, little Ralphie from A Christmas Story), Jason Bateman, Vaughn's Swingers co-star Jon Favreau, Justin Long , and even Ann-Margaret. To men and even women, Jen not only acts with confidence, but she also most definitely looks the part. An infamous scene to watch out for is t he one where a nude Aniston attempts to tease Vaughn with her assets. If you only thought horror flicks and action movies had twists, guess again. Just when y ou think the movie is going in a certain direction, it takes a completely different approach, which makes this comedy a must-see. Another reason would be a twist in its own right. Hear me out correctly, Vince and Jen have the same father in the movie anyway. Who knew the apple doesn't fall far from the tree? Vince's father, Vernon Vaughn, plays Jen's father. All in all, if you're looking for a good laugh with friends or
the one you love, The Break-Up is the movie for you. Fans of Jen, Vince,
or Vaughnist on (as a whole) won't be disappointed to say the least. Vince
once again proves his comedic genius that is quite reminiscent from last
year's blockbuster hit, Wedding Crashers. As for Jen, you're reminded why
she was cast as Rachel Greene on her hit show Friends, because she shines
in every sense of the word. With a movie that keeps you guessing, it will
leave you wanting a sequel, maybe appropriately titled, Enjoy Jennifer's latest movie.

Jennifer and friends with money are forgotten at Sundance |
Director Nicole Holofcener
not only forgot to mention Aniston's name
She proved it in remarks that preceded the premiere of her film Friends With Money, forgetting to introduce her quartet of stars: Jennifer Aniston, Frances McDormand, Catherine Keener and Joan Cusack.Friends With Money opened the festival to a packed theater Thursday night, with Sundance Institute founder Robert Redford and festival director Geoffrey Gilmore offering remarks before Holofcener came up. Holofcener thanked many others on the film, executives at distributor Sony Pictures Classics, her casting director and editor, the male co-stars, including Jason Isaacs, Scott Caan, Simon McBurney and Greg Germann. Then she started to leave, only rushing back to the podium after Gilmore reminded her she had neglected to mention the lead actresses. "I forgot you guys. They are a very integral part of the movie," Holofcener joked as Aniston, McDormand, Keener and Cusack took the stage beside her. Friends With Money stars Aniston as a lovable, unmarried pothead who quits her job teaching at a private school and scrapes by cleaning houses as her well-to-do married pals (McDormand, Keener and Cusack) offer advice and sympathy while messing up their own lives in creative ways. The film is due in theaters this spring. Sundance, the nation's top showcase for independent film, will present 120 feature films during its 11-day run. During a question-and-answer session with the audience after the premiere, writer-director Holofcener said the idea originated with the thought that money — and the mix of those who have it and those who don't — would make for an interesting dynamic.Cusack seemed to politely disagree that finance was at the heart of the film."It's not really about money," Cusack said. "It's about being centered. Money is kind of a symbol of how you are in your life and how you're going to be centered."And Keener, who starred in Holofcener's previous films Walking and Talking and Lovely & Amazing, politely refuted Cusack."I don't agree, because I feel money has a lot to do with how everyone's centered," Keener said. "I think if it were a level playing field, then we'd all see where everyone is at." Jennifer mostly kept quiet, the former Friends star offering a curt response when asked why she did a small independent film when she has so many other options."You saw the movie," Jennifer said, adding she had wanted to work with her fellow actresses and Holofcener.
