Jennifer Sues Paparazzo for taking Topless Photo |
Jennifer is suing a paparazzo, claiming he invaded her privacy by using a telephoto lens to photograph her topless at her house. The lawsuit filed Friday in Los Angeles Superior Court alleges that photographer Peter Brandt must have observed the 36-year-old actress "from a great distance through invasive, intrusive and unlawful measures." The photos "could have been taken only by means of trespassing and were shot in a place where she had reasonable expectations of privacy, claims Jennifer, who starred on NBC's "Friends," in the lawsuit. Brandt said he took the pictures three weeks ago while standing on a public street in Los Angeles about 300 yards from her house. He said was trying to photograph Aniston with Vince Vaughn, who was at the house at the time. Aniston and the 35-year-old actor are reported to be dating. "I wish she hadn't just walked out topless," said Brandt. "That's not what I was looking for."Brandt said Aniston was in her backyard, which had small bushes but no fence. The lawsuit alleged Brandt had shown the topless pictures to agencies.Brandt declined comment on whether he had shown the pictures to agencies, but said he had no intention of selling them.Brandt's celebrity photos have appeared in People magazine and the New York Post. Jennifer is seeking monetary damages and a court order to stop Brandt and anyone else from making money from the photos. The actress previously sued a different photographer for allegedly scaling a neighbor's 8-foot wall and photographing her sunbathing topless in her backyard. The photos ran in several publications. Francois Navarre, owner of Los Angeles paparazzi agency X-17 paid Aniston $550,000 two years ago to settle an invasion-of-privacy lawsuit but didn't admit to any wrongdoing. Aniston's latest lawsuit comes as the Los Angeles County district attorney's office is investigating whether increasingly aggressive celebrity photographers are initiating confrontations to capture lucrative photos.

GQ's
man of the year: Jennifer Aniston |
For the first time in 10 years, GQ magazine is featuring a woman on one of three covers of the annual Men of the Year issue. That woman: Jennifer Aniston. Actor Vince Vaughn and rapper 50 Cent also are sharing GQ's 2005 honor. The covers will be distributed to subscribers randomly, and all three will be sold on newsstands Tuesday. In 2003, GQ started featuring women in the issue, but "we wanted to choose the one woman who we find most compelling," says articles editor Mark Healy. The decision to run topless photos of her, he says, was between the photographer and Aniston. In what GQ is billing as its first-ever Woman of the Year, the nomination is "an honor" for Aniston, says her spokesman, Stephen Huvane. The actress was "inspired" by photographer Peggy Sirota, he says. Aniston, 36, earned the 2005 title, Healy says, because she "exhibited a lot of poise, unbelievable amount of grace and good humor this year."

Jennifer Aniston appear Friday on Concert for the Gulf Coast |
Sheryl Crow, the Dixie Chicks, Alicia Keys, Randy Newman, Paul Simon, Rod Stewart and Neil Young are among the performers who will sing Friday night as a part of "Shelter From the Storm: A Concert for the Gulf Coast," which will air live on NBC and all the broadcast networks at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT. It will be tape delayed on in the Mountain and Pacific time zones. The live one-hour concert to benefit the victims of Hurricane Katrina also was streamed live on MSNBC.com. Jennifer Aniston, Cameron Diaz, Ellen DeGeneres, Jack Nicholson, Chris Rock, Ray Romano and Sela Ward are also expected to make presentations during the fundraising special. Joel Gallen, executive producer of “Shelter From the Storm: A Concert for the Gulf Coast,” said no special precautions will be taken to edit out political statements. During NBC's benefit concert on Sept. 2, rapper Kanye West departed from a prepared script to say that “George Bush doesn’t care about black people.” He’s one of a dozen musicians scheduled to perform Friday. Only a standard five- or seven-second delay will be employed to guard against any obscenities, Gallen said. He said he’s spoken to all of the musicians and actors who will be appearing on the show about not detracting from the mission. “I think people understand that politicizing this will certainly not be a smart thing to do as far as inspiring people to call in and rally around this cause,” he said. NBC's Sept. 2 "A Concert for Hurricane Relief," featured Harry Connick Jr., Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, Aaron Neville and Wynton Marsalis. Viewers were asked to send donations to the Red Cross during the broadcast. The Red Cross received $50.8 million in donations during the concert. The special also will be broadcast in at least 95 countries, including Australia, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Greece, India, Ireland, Italy, Japan, New Zealand, Spain, Taiwan, the United Kingdom and virtually all of Asia and the Middle East.

Aniston Cover Breaks All VANITY FAIR Sales Records
|
It's Just About Impossible to Find a Issue
The much-publicised September issue, featuring the Friends actress posing provocatively in a white shirt, sold more than 650,000 copies in the US. Aniston poured her heart out in the article, tearfully speaking about her break-up with Brad Pitt and his relationship with Angelina Jolie. The sales beat Carolyn Bessette Kennedy`s posthumous September 1999 cover which sold 640,816. She died alongside her husband, John F Kennedy Jnr, in a plane crash in the Atlantic in July 1999. Beth Kseniak, Vanity Fair spokeswoman, said the best-selling issues tended to capture the public mood and focus on people who had generated a lot of attention. "We knew (the Aniston cover) would be a big seller," she said. "People seem to be fascinated with her and Pitt and Jolie. "It was also Jennifer`s first and only interview so if they wanted to read it they had to go out and buy it." Average monthly sales are generally in the region of between 390,000 and 400,000. The Aniston issue had originally been due to be published in October but was brought forward due to fears of leaks.

Hesterbey pleads not guilty in Aniston burglary |
Man pleads not guilty in Aniston burglary
Fourty Eight year old homeless man who allegedly broke into Jennifer Aniston's Malibu home pleaded not guilty Monday to a burglary charge, officials said. A homeless man allegedly vaulted a 9-foot fence last week and entered the actress' rented house on Pacific Coast Highway. AP photo David Hesterbey faces first-degree burglary and petty theft charges, officials with the Los Angeles County district attorney's office said in a statement. He remains in custody with bail set at $70,000. Hesterbey allegedly vaulted a 9-foot fence last week and entered the actress' rented house on Pacific Coast Highway, prosecutors said. Aniston's employees told authorities that Hesterbey said he was "looking for Jennifer," authorities said. When an employee confronted Hesterbey, he became startled and fled the house, jumping a fence and running toward the beach, sheriff's officials said. He was arrested later that day by sheriff's deputies who found him walking along the beach near Aniston's home. The actress was not at home at the time. Hesterbey has a prior burglary conviction in Santa Barbara County, prosecutors said. An attorney for Hesterbey could not be located for comment. A pretrial hearing was scheduled for Sept. 7.

Intruder Arrested at Aniston Beach Front Rental |
Malibu Invasion
A man who strolled into actress Jennifer Aniston's home in Malibu, telling an employee there he was "looking for Jennifer," has been arrested for trespassing, police said on Friday. The intruder, identified by police as 48-year-old David Hesterbey of Santa Barbara, California, was being held in lieu of $500 bail, Los Angeles County Sheriff's spokeswoman Diane Hecht said in a written news release. According to a statement given to police by Aniston's employees, Hesterbey walked into her beachfront home through an unlocked door at about 11:30 a.m. PDT on Thursday, while the actress, best known for starring in the hit television comedy "Friends," was away. "When he saw the first employee he said he was looking for Jennifer," Hecht said. "A second employee entered the room and startled the man, who ran out of the residence. He then jumped a fence and ran down the beach." Sheriff's deputies spotted Hesterbey walking along the shore a short time later and took him into custody after he was identified by Aniston's employees as the intruder. Representatives for Jennifer, had no immediate comment on the incident.

VANITY FAIR Interview Forces Editors To Act Fast See the complete shoot below |
Vanity Fair bumps issue forward VANITY FAIR bosses are so fired up by their explosive new interview with Jennifer, they're scrapping the September (05) cover story and replacing it with the former FRIENDS star's tell-all. Editors are keeping quiet about exactly what Jennifer talks about. Jennifer was originally scheduled to make the cover of the October (05) issue of the style magazine. Jennifer talks: About Brad, Angelina & life after divorce. NEW YORK, N.Y.—In her first interview since her split from Brad Pitt, Jennifer Aniston tells Vanity Fair contributing editor Leslie Bennetts that when her marriage broke up, "the world was shocked and I was shocked." But her feelings for her ex-husband remain. "I love Brad; I really love him. I will love him for the rest of my life," she says. "He's a fantastic man. I don't regret any of it, and I'm not going to beat myself up about it. We spent seven very intense years together … a beautiful, complicated relationship. The sad thing, for me, is the way it's been reduced to a Hollywood cliché—or maybe it's just a human cliché. I have a lot of compassion for everyone going through this … I really do hope that someday we can be friends again." Bennetts reports that Jennifer is doing very well and during the interview displayed her trademark sardonic humor, at one point saying of her ex-husband's new blond dye job, "Billy Idol called—he wants his look back." When Bennetts asks Jennifer about seeing the pictures of Pitt with actress Angelina Jolie and her son, she says: "I can't say it was one of the highlights of my year. Who would deal with that and say, 'Isn't that sweet! That looks like fun!'? But shit happens. You joke and say, 'What doesn't kill you makes you stronger.'" Jennifer tells Bennetts that she expected to spend the last year being pregnant, and is angered by reports that the reason for their split was that she didn't want to start a family. "A man divorcing would never be accused of choosing career over children. That really pissed me off. I've never in my life said I didn't want to have children," she says. "I did and I do and I will! The women that inspire me are the ones who have careers and children; why would I want to limit myself? I've always wanted to have children, and I would never give up that experience for a career. I want to have it all." A mutual friend of the former couple tells Bennetts that having a baby was never a priority for Brad, whereas for Jen, it was much more immediate. "So is there a part of Brad that's diabolical?," asks the friend. "Did he think, I need to get out of this marriage, but I want to come out smelling like a rose, so I'm going to let Jen be cast as the ultra-feminist and I'm going to get cast as the poor husband who couldn't get a baby and so had to move on?" "There's a sensitivity chip that's missing," Jennifer says of her former husband when asked about the W magazine portfolio in which Pitt and Angelina Jolie play husband and wife. When Jennifer learns from Bennetts that Pitt retained the international rights, so that he actually profited from it, her eyes widen in surprise and she grimaces. "I didn't know that," Jennifer says, but she refuses throughout the interview to indulge herself in an angry reaction, or disparage her ex-husband, according to Bennetts. Jennifer is not dating Vince Vaughn or anyone else, she tells Bennetts. "I like a lot of people, but I am so not 'in like' with anybody. I am really enjoying being by myself. I'm excited that I know there's somebody out there for me, but I am absolutely in no rush. This is all very fresh, very new. This was a seven-year relationship that was very dear, very complicated, very special. I need to honor it." Although Jennifer is handling herself and the divorce very well, Bennetts reports that she does not downplay the difficulties. Says Jennifer, "Am I lonely? Yes. Am I upset? Yes. Am I confused? Yes. Do I have my days when I've thrown a little pity party for myself? Absolutely. But I'm also doing really well." The September issue of Vanity Fair hits newsstands on August 3 in New York and Los Angeles and nationally on August 9. I got Lucky and
found a single premature copy before the August 9 release :o) Scan Compliments of Mike from Jen's World.

Jennifer Toilet Paper Auction off the Roll
|
Toilet-paper musings are not for public auction. If you wanted a makeshift birthday card supposedly written on a piece of toilet paper by Jennifer Aniston, you'll have to look elsewhere. Jennifer's former fling Michael Baroni, a California lawyer, has canceled his eBay auction, originally set to begin Friday, of keepsakes from the pair's teenage romance. The goods included a piece of paper with Aniston's name and phone number written in lipstick and a photo of the pair hugging when they first met. "I have voluntarily canceled the eBay auction upon receiving word from one of Jennifer's representatives that she didn't want me conducting the auction," Baroni said in a statement to The Associated Press on Friday. "I have nothing but fond memories of Jennifer as a friend and only wish her well." Jennifer's representative, Stephen Huvane, didn't immediately return a call Friday for comment. According to Baroni, there was confusion when three fake auctions popped up on the online auction Web site. "Any such postings on eBay purporting to be from me were not, in fact, from me," said Baroni. Baroni claims he had a summer romance in 1984 with Jennifer. According to Baroni, their summer lovin' — he was 16, she was 15 turned into a longtime friendship until they lost contact in 1991, when Aniston's showbiz career began to soar. "She was very fun and lively, a loving kind of person," Baroni told the AP during a phone interview Friday. "I think the materials show an innocent look into someone I think is very endearing." Baroni's auction was slated for July 29 on eBay with a $100,000 reserve. Baroni wouldn't comment on why he wanted to auction off the items beyond citing "financial reasons." The package was to include: a piece of paper with Aniston's name and phone number written in lipstick, a love letter from Jennifer handwritten in red pen, a note written on toilet paper with birthday wishes from Jennifer to Baroni on his 17th birthday, a page from Baroni's little black book containing Aniston's contact information, a photo of the pair hugging when they first met in 1974, an autographed photo from the cast of "Friends," a December 2004 copy of In Touch magazine with an article about their relationship and a notarized statement by Baroni certifying and attesting to the authenticity of the materials. In January, Jennifer and her husband, Brad Pitt, separated after 4 1/2 years of marriage. She filed for divorce in March citing irreconcilable differences. "I think she's very strong-willed, but at the same time, she gives her heart to whatever she does," said Baroni. "I'm sure the breakup was more his fault that hers." "I have to add I'm quite happy it ended this way............ as only a smut mug could of afforded to dish out such $ for the reserve bid that was due to have been required by Baroni. " JsTig

"Graduate" sequel to open for Christmas "Rumor Has It" |
Jennifer Aniston and Kevin Costner pair up to take the Oscar-winning 1967 classic "The Graduate" into the present in "Rumor Has It". Entertainment Tonight reports the Rob Reiner-directed comedy features Jennifer as a newspaper obituaries writer who discovers from millionaire Costner that her family was the model for The Graduate, with her mother, played by Shirley MacLaine, the original Mrs. Robinson. Because Mrs. Robinson had a love affair with a college student in the original film, Aniston, on the eve of her marriage, is left in doubts as to who her father is.

Jennifer Accepts Fan Designed Coat |
Jennifer has a new coat thanks to a insistent fan
A star struck fan gave Jennifer her coat after the Friends beauty complimented it while out shopping with former co-star Courteney Cox. The bizarre exchange took place on London's shopping mecca Oxford Street, when Jennifer was signing an autographs for devoted fans braving the cold weather to meet her. Jennifer said, "I casually complimented her on her great coat and she explained it was one of her own designs and insisted on giving it me. She was literally taking her coat off in the cold and handing it over! I was mortified. "I told her I would visit her studio to buy one. But she wouldn't hear of it. "I still feel odd wearing it, but I love this coat and you wouldn't believe the amount of compliments I get!" Cox joked to the fan, "Hey, I'm not getting anything out of this deal! Can I have your blazer?"

Good News For Jennifer |
Jennifer makes the list
Friends may have come to an end but Jennifer Aniston's still as popular as ever, according to Forbes magazine. Jennifer has made it on to the mag's 2005 Celebrity 100 List, but her ex-colleagues Courteney Cox and Lisa Kudrow, both of whom were on the 2004 list, are nowhere to be seen. Instead, they've been replaced by a new batch of A-listers. "If you're off the list it doesn't mean you're not a star any more, but it may mean that your stock has gone down a bit," said Forbes writer Peter Kafka. "The list is our attempt to measure not only who's getting paid but how many people are paying attention to celebrities." The list reveals which celebs have been the most popular in the past year. The full Top 100 will be revealed when the mag hits the newsstands on 17 June.

In November 2003, the musician and photographer Bryan Adams began photographing a cross section of influential American women dressed in new and vintage Calvin Klein. Shot mainly in New York and Los Angeles throughout 2004, American Women is a tribute to the beauty, strength, and character of American women. Jennifer Aniston, Hillary Rodham Clinton, Katie Couric, Gwyneth Paltrow, Scarlett Johansson, Hilary Swank, Serena Williams, Venus Williams, Lindsay Lohan, Christie Brinkley, Sarah Jessica Parker, Eartha Kitt, Aerin Lauder, Marlo Thomas, Nan Kempner, Paula Zahn, Cindy Crawford, Alice Sebold, Amber Valletta, Katie Holmes, Eve Ensler, and Lauren Hutton are just a few of the women Adams selected from among America's most notable actors, journalists, musicians, artists, businesswomen, athletes, and philanthropists, all lovingly and glamorously captured by the camera of a rising star in the field. The only binding theme being that they are American women known for excelling in their field. Produced in close collaboration with the Calvin Klein company, American Women is Adams' third book of important women. His first, Made in Canada (Key Porter, 1999), benefited the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation and featured influential Canadian women such as Linda Evangelista, k.d. lang, Shania Twain, and Pamela Anderson. Based on its success, he published a second book, Haven (Trebruk, 2000), in the U.K. Benefiting the Haven Trust, a breast cancer support center in London, the book raised a considerable sum for the charity and received widespread press. For that book, Bryan photographed HRH Queen Elizabeth II, the Duchess of York, Vanessa Redgrave, Elizabeth Hurley, Kate Moss, Julie Christie, Joan Collins, and forty other influential British women. Proceeds from American Women will benefit the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in support of their ongoing breast cancer research programs.

WSO |
Hi Jen fans! Her is a private interview that was done by Warden Style Online. Jane was kind enough to share this interview with us here at AnistonAvenue.
JENNIFER ANISTON about Cinderella moments, London It-Girls and the possiblity to shave her head... Question: How can you not like Jennifer Aniston? She`s famous though still as down to earth as one could possibly be, she`s married to a man who we secretely all wished to have met before she took him off the market and over a decade, she truly became our favourite "friend". Launching her movie career now, I meet Jennifer in London where she spent the last weeks working on one of her up-coming movie projects. Jennifer is the first celebrity I interview for WSO who asked for not having to talk about certain topics, but who can really blame her? Rumours about a possible pregnancy, marriage trouble and whatever else spread this year to an extent I personally wouldn`t have thought possible. Although having just returned to the hotel from re-shooting a scene that should have been finished days earlier, Jennifer seems to be in an excellent mood, smiling and laughing all through the interview. WSO: I`d like to play a little game at the beginning, would that be ok? Jennifer: Sure. What do I have to do? WSO: Simply finish the sentences. The first one is: "My style could be described as..." Jennifer: Oh! I`m not really into accessoires, I like to keep it simple. WSO: Do you enjoy dressing up for the big events? Jennifer: Ahm... well, yeah. Although I try not to let the Hollywood glitz having too much of an impact on me personally, those big things such as the Globes, the Oscars, you know.. it`s still something special. WSO: Next one: "The person that inspired me most in terms of fashion or style is..." Jennifer: A very dear friend. But I won`t tell you a name (laughs). WSO: You don`t have to. What does she do or wear that makes her an inspiration for you? Jennifer: Ahm... She`s just herself and she managed to stay true to herself although a lot of people around her changed a lot, thinking they had to live up to certain expectations. And I love her clothes. I`ve honestly seen her wearing trousers like... ten times in her life so far and it`s so funny because I could never do that. (laughs) WSO: Alright. "The best styling advice I`ve ever got ..." Jennifer: Those are questions! I guess I have to go for my hair. I`ve been seeing the same hairdresser for quite some time now and I trust him with whatever he wants to do to me. (smiles) WSO: If you had to pick one item of your wardrobe to wear for the rest of your life, what would it be? Jennifer: Oh that`s a mean one. WSO: Why? Jennifer: Because I can`t answer that question. Seriously not. WSO: You don`t have any favourite dress or shirt? Jennifer: I feel most comfortable wearing jeans and a simple shirt. Is that an acceptable answer then? (laughs) WSO: I think it`ll do. Is there any designer you prefer? Jennifer: I`m really not the kind of person who exclusively shops in a certain designer`s flagstore. I have Dolce&Gabanna, I have Valentino, I have Chanel, I have.. so many different brands in my wardrobe and they`re all amazing. WSO: How many of the clothes you own are freebies? Jennifer: Quite a lot, I`m afraid. Though I can`t keep everything people send me. I just can`t. I give most of it away, to be honest. Sometimes I just pile all the stuff I don`t want to keep for myself and then I have my friends coming over one night and I feel like Santa. WSO: Not about the clothes, but I know that you and Brad do give away quite a lot for charities, but there`s not too much of it going public, isn`t there? Jennifer: No that`s true. And I wouldn`t want that. That`s not what giving money or whatever away is about and I`m sometimes tempted to go up the walls when some people use charity for publicity matters. There`s a horrible craze for attention today and mostly for the wrong reasons. It`s a different thing when it comes to doing those charity shows on TV, when people use the fact that others recognize their faces to attract attention for special auctions, for example. But generally I rather prefer to keep it private, it`s my own business. WSO: Being an actress, writers and directors expect you to be willing to change your looks for their movies. One thing you`ve done so far is colouring your hair. Do you prefer being a blonde or a brunette? Jennifer: I`m naturally closer to brunette, I think. WSO: There are quite a lot of women who tried both and experienced being treated differently... Jennifer: Oh, I don`t think being blonde made anybody treat me differently. You know, I`d love to say that I`m just like anybody else but I know that I`m not. People pay more attention to me because I`m an actress, so my hair colour rather plays a peripheral role in the whole matter (laughs). WSO: Is there anything you wouldn`t change for a movie? Shaving your head like Demi Moore once did, for instance? Or could you imagine putting on weight such as Renee Zellweger did for the "Bridget Jones" movies? Jennifer: Well... I admire... those were both changes that kind of had to be done for the movie, but I couldn`t say I`d like to put myself into that. Shaving my head, I couldn`t, I just couldn`t. Or putting on weight quickly and then trying to lose it again within weeks... I don`t know, this is one of those "never say never" moments, I guess, it always depends on the role you play and I ... it surely isn`t a very healthy thing to do to your body. WSO: Do you think of yourself as being a style role model? Jennifer: I don`t really know what it is, but I don`t feel I dress in an extra-ordinary way. Most of the time, I just put on some jeans and then I go. So when I see a woman in the street wearing the same brand of jeans I definitely don`t think she`s doing that because of me, you know? If we talk about the premieres though, yes - I`d say there is a bit of being a role model involved. Not because it`s me, but these red carpet outfits always have a bit of that gracious, fairy tale "Cinderella" moment to them and every little girl dreams of being a princess (laughs). So yeah, but it`s not because it`s me. I mean, I`ve never met anybody and felt like "she`s wearing my shirt!" I don`t claim any copyrights. WSO: Just talking about going out, you and Brad are literally being chased by paparazzi wherever you go. Does one ever get used to it? Jennifer: It`s... you know, I don`t want to get in line with all the people lamenting about the loss of privacy because... it just comes with the business and there`s no way to avoid it. It`s a sad thing though and I have to admit than I really get mad sometimes. Maybe now even more than before. The same rumours come up and up again and again, and there`s no point to it. I learned not to care about it too much, but it often gets really hard to stay calm. You know, you just want to get somebody on the phone and yell at him and tell him to stop all that fuzz. But you can`t. WSO: You`ve been in the business for quite some time. Do you feel any pressure to look the movie star 24/7 because of all the pictures being taken? There`s this rather well-known anecdote about you putting on the same pants every day? Jennifer: (laughs) Yeah I did that. It didn`t really help though, I had that idea but it didn`t work out too well. So at one point I just stopped it. And you get tired of wearing the same old pants all the time, to be honest. WSO: You travel the world almost constantly, either you go to promote or work on your own movies or to accompany Brad. Is there any place that stood out in particular in terms of fashion? Jennifer: It`s hard to tell because if you do promotion you don`t find the time... you entirely focus on the business stuff and then in the evenings, you`re honestly glad the day is done and you can just leave the set or the press conference and sleep. But from what I`ve seen I have to say that women in Italy just seem to really care about every day elegance, grace, which is fantastic. England is generally very fashionable, very trendy. I always thought that the only people who can go for the ultra hip things are girls like ... who can get away with looking crazy, you know? And then you come here [to London] and all the girls wear this bohemian hippie style, it`s incredible. (laughs). Germany was very relaxed, really laid back, I loved Berlin. I took a long walk around one of the parks there in January and it was awesome. Spain, Greece, Mexico.. I could go on for hours .. there`s such a variety of styles around, it`s impossible to pick just one place. WSO: Coming back to your private outfits then, what are you going to wear to the New Year`s party? Jennifer: Well, I`m not going to have a huge party, so there`s no special outfit I`ve picked. WSO: Any resolutions for 2005 you could tell us about? Jennifer: Lots of work to do in the first place. (laughs) I`m going to start shooting the next movie in January already, so ... I can`t really think about any vice I could try to get rid of, apart from some little things that don`t really matter too much. Be healthy, yes. And be happy and satisfied with the things I do and the decisions I make... just what everybody else wishes for basically. And (gestures inverted commas) "a bit of what you fancy always does you good". (smiles) As it`s already late, I stay in the hotel overnight. When I`m about to leave the next morning, there`s a quick, handwritten note waiting for me at the reception that says: "Hi Jane. I just thought about a favourite: I`ve got a brown cardigan which I really love. Very nice talking to you, Jennifer." Question: How can you not like Jennifer Aniston? Answer: no way. Please note that this interview was done before the Pitt`s split was
officially announced. Thanks Jane @ Warden Style Online. Is Jenn not the sweetest ever.............she just had to answer the question for Jane.

Jen A Godmother Article sent in by Cat |
Jennifer was named Godmother to Courteney's
Daughter Jennifer joined her former Friends costar Courtney Cox Arquette in Birmingham, Ala., for Saturday's baptism of Cox's and husband David Arquette's 10-month-old daughter, Coco. Jennifer was named one of Coco's godmothers during a "wonderful gathering" of about 110 friends and family members at St. Stephen's Episcopal, said the Rev. Doug Carpenter, who led the ceremony and had also married Cox and Arquette in San Francisco in 1999, reports the Associated Press. Jennifer who dined with the parents and their relatives at Highlands Bar & Grill on Friday night, was the only high-profile friend of the couple who attended the baptism, said Carpenter. "There were no cameras during the ceremony, but afterward, everyone wanted their pictures taken with the stars," he said, adding that Jennifer, Cox and Arquette "seemed to enjoy that."

| Jennifer Files for Divorce |
Jennifer and Brad are officially calling it quits after 4 1/2 years of marriage.
Jennifer filed for divorce Friday, citing irreconcilable differences with Pitt. The couple released a joint statement in January saying they were formally separating. Married on July 29, 2000. They have no children and it was the first marriage for both. Calls to Jennifer's attorney, Robert Kaufman, and to Pitt's publicist, Cindy Guagenti, were not immediately returned. In the Superior Court petition, Jennifer requested that Brad not be awarded spousal support and that her maiden name be restored. The actress took Pitt's name legally when they married. Brad, 41, and Jennifer, 36, began dating in 1998. They had a fairy-tale wedding on Malibu bluffs overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Part of Pacific Coast Highway was shut down to accommodate the influx of the 200 guests. Among those who attended were actress Cameron Diaz and most of Jennifer's co-stars from "Friends." Until rumors began swirling a few months ago that the A-list couple were about to split, there were near-constant tabloid rumors that Jennifer was pregnant. The actress had said she and Brad eventually wanted to start a family. The two remain co-owners of the Plan B production company with producer Brad Grey. Jennifer shot to fame on "Friends," which ended its 10-year run last year as one of television's highest-rated comedies. She also has starred in such films as "Along Came Polly," "Bruce Almighty" and "The Good Girl."
"Best of luck to them
both." Especially you Jen!

Publicist Clears Up Post-Split Rumors |
Post Separate Rumors Made Clear Jennifer's publicist Steven Huvane has stepped forward to clear up post-split rumors surrounding his client and her estranged husband BRAD PITT. As tabloid reports of emotional breakdowns and house moves swirl around Hollywood, Huvane insists the Pitts are still living together in their sprawling Beverly Hills home and remain the best of friends. The publicist states Aniston "never stayed with her hair stylist Chris McMillan after the separation announcement", despite some reports to the contrary, and he dismissed tales that Jennifer has been seeking medical help to cope with the split as "complete rubbish". Steven does, however, confirm the couple did enjoy an intimate meal together at exclusive Los Angeles restaurant L'Orangerie last week (26JAN05). He says, "They remain caring and loving friends."

The pair's publicists reassured USA Today, plans are unaffected for the movies, which include this summer's much-anticipated Charlie And The Chocolate Factory, starring Johnny Depp. Several of the other projects are equally high profile. Crime thriller The Departed is scheduled to start shooting in the spring and will star Leonardo DiCaprio and Matt Damon. SPC has proven to be a very generous friend with money. The company will fully finance Nicole Holofcener's latest comedy "Friends with Money," which stars Jennifer Aniston, Catherine Keener, Frances McDormand and Joan Cusack. The story centers on four best friends who are dealing with their relationships with each other and their spouses. Aniston's character is the single one in the bunch. Jason Isaacs, Scott Caan, Greg Germann and Simon McBurney add the balancing dose of testosterone to the cast. "This is a terrific story about modern couples perfectly cast with a director we have wanted to work with ever since her very first film," SPC says in a statement. "Nicole Holofcener is a major independent American filmmaker and the mastery of the screenplay of 'Friends with Money' bears this out." Produced by This and That partners Anne Carey, Anthony Bregman and Ted Hope, "Friends" will be distributed through SPC worldwide, except in Australia and Scandinavia. The project marks the third time Holofcener has worked with Keener after 1996's "Walking and Talking" and 2002's "Lovely & Amazing." Keener, 44, is currently shooting "Capote" and next appears in upcoming drama "The Interpreter" and "The Ballad of Jack and Rose." She will begin shooting Judd Apatow's "40-Year-Old Virgin" opposite Steve Carell in 2005. McDormand, 47, won an Oscar for her leading role in 1996's "Fargo" and next stars opposite Charlize Theron in the upcoming films "Class Action" and "Aeon Flux." Cusack, 42, recently appeared in "School of Rock" and "Raising Helen." She next appears the skating film "Ice Princess" and as the voice of the Ugly Duckling in the upcoming "Chicken Little."
